The 120 kg m/71 is a Swedish aerial-dropped bomb. It was introduced alongside the AJ37 in Update "Ground Breaking".

General info

The m/71 is essentially an updated version of the M/61 bomb with a new spiked nose fuze. It is a relatively low-yield high-explosive fragmentation bomb and has low-drag style body with four stabilizer fins on the tail section. The "M" in the name refers to it being a weapon and the "71" describes the year of its introduction.

Effective damage

The m/71 has no special armour-piercing properties and does all of its damage through sheer explosive force. With an explosive mass of 39.3 kg TNTeq and an armour destruction radius of only 4 m, the bomb is most suited for precision strikes against soft targets, though a direct hit will still destroy an armoured target like an MBT.
