The GP 100T bomb is the most common bomb on Italian aircraft from ranks I to IV, it is a multipurpose bomb since half of its weight is pure TNT making it a great choice for bombing bases or attacking ground targets.
The GP 100T bomb weighs 100 kg with 50.6 kg of TNT and an armour destruction radius of 5 metres and 100 metres of fragmentation damage.
This bomb is similar to the American 250 lb AN-M57 bomb, which has an armour destruction radius of 4 metres and 103 metres of fragmentation damage.
Air battles
It's not the best bomb to destroy bases but is usually the stock loadout for bombers. It is more suited for soft (AA emplacement, artillery position, MG nest) and lightly-armoured ground targets (tanks, light pillboxes), making it best suited for attackers.
Mixed battles
It small weight makes it an option for fighters. This allows to perform ground attack and then focus on air superiority. Attackers can carry several GP 100T bombs.
