Tank cannons
The 90 mm 90/53 mod.41 cannon is an Italian anti-tank cannon.
The Cannone da 90/53 is truly a marvel of Italian design though only present on three vehicles. Similar to the Flak.37 mounted on the 8,8 cm Flak 37 Sfl., the 90 is a devastating weapon in the right hands, able to frontally penetrate most tanks at its rank.

Give a comparative description of cannons/machine guns that have firepower equal to this weapon.
The 90/53 mod.41 is a solid gun that can reliably penetrate vehicles from the front, though usually you will want to be firing at a flank since both the Breda 501 and 90/53 M41M have very limited armour that is not well suited for medium to close range encounters. A solid strategy is to take position in a bush or at the corner of a building and wait for an unsuspecting target to come into range, fire, then fire again or move. If your reflexes are good enough, it is fantastic in city combat as the cannon will knock out anything at those ranges, with the M41M being the better of the two chassis in this role.
In a duel with a similarly sized gun, the 90/53 mod.41 performs well due to the reload speed, which can be improved with leadership, loader skill, and qualification. It is ideal to avoid duels though, because the 90/53 mod.41 is particularly vulnerable to damage from AP rounds with the exposed breech, so care should be taken when engaging in prolonged combat with an enemy. Both vehicles that wield it also tend to have very limited stores of ammunition, so it is probably better to fire then retreat rather than stay in a prolonged engagement.
The HE shells are mostly against lightly-armoured vehicles, a type that becomes increasingly rare at the BR that you will find it at. Still, the M19A1, Ystervark, and 8,8 cm Flak 37 Sfl. are all valid targets since they are vulnerable to HE shells. The stock APHE shell is good, though the upgrade is even better due to the larger explosive filler.

Examine the history of the creation and combat usage of the weapon in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too long, take it to a separate article, taking a link to the article about the weapon and adding a block "/History" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Weapon-name)/History) and add a link to it here using the main template. Be sure to reference text and sources by using <ref></ref>, as well as adding them at the end of the article with <references />.
Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
